BitSummit

Established in 2013, BitSummit is the #1 indie game show in Japan. Based in the hometown of Nintendo in Kyoto, supported by major game developers and publishers from around Japan, Asia and beyond, it has grown to 17,000 people strong event. Every year participating games have a chance of winning one of the show's prizes in eight categories. This year the event will be a hybrid of B2B live event, and an online showcase of participating games.

Tokyo Sandbox

Tokyo Sandbox is a 6-year-old indie game show. Hosted in the center of Akihabara, it showcases 150 whackiest and creative Japanese indie games. The game show has stayed true to its roots and maintains a 100% indie rule, attracting both fans and game creators who love indies from all over Japan.
