PAX South

PAX South 2020 is the sixth annual celebration of gaming and pop culture. Tens of thousands of families and friends, both locals and travelers from around the world, converge in San Antonio to play hundreds of the most anticipated upcoming games from the biggest names in gaming, local rising-star developers, as well as creators from across the globe.

The all-ages convention brings together fan-favorite YouTube stars and the biggest names in game development for live gaming competitions, entertaining panels, concerts and other fun events. Attendees can enter giveaways and meet the makers of their favorite games face-to-face.

White Nights Conference

The next White Nights Conference will take place in Amsterdam! The main reason to attend the event is an opportunity to meet decision-makers face-to-face. Yorkshire Games Festival

A five-day extravaganza celebrating games culture, design and production, with special guests, workshops, master classes, and a fun-packed weekend for gamers of all ages.

The programme includes Game Talks for students and professionals, the Let's Play! family weekend, and the Young Developers Conference for aspiring game makers.

This year's Game Talks programme includes speakers from Team17, The British Esports Association, Rare, Sumo Digital, nDreams, Coatsink and Bithell Games.

Ukie Hub Crawl: Raising Your Profile

Games | Drinks | Scotland

Free events for those actively working in/around the Scottish games industry, consisting of a series of ten-minute talks followed by general networking and drinks to encourage collaboration and communication between local developers. Nine speakers each talk for ten minutes on a wide range of interesting topics, with networking breaks after every three speakers.

Dutch Game Garden Network Lunch

Every first Wednesday of the month, we host our Network Lunch. From 12:00 to 14:00, you are invited to join us for an afternoon of networking. Meet the inspiring individuals of the games industry and connect with creative professionals, teachers, project leaders, future interns, and potential clients!

Many visitors to our event go home with a new job, client, internship, or the inspiration for a new project. And if you haven?t had the time to talk to every inspiring individual present, then we still have our follow-up list.

Underground QA Conference 2020

The Underground Game QA Conference aims to fill a gap in the roster of presentations typically found at game conferences. Founded out of a desire to improve QA talk availability, the conference aims to empower QA Professionals to share knowledge and level up their skills. Attendees will participate in a series of workshops and roundtables focused on crafting better test plans and building great teams lead by experienced QA Professionals from across the video game industry. The conference will be available live on Twitch for those who can't attend in person as well as archived on YouTube.

European Game Showcase at GDC

The European Game Showcase at GDC is a pro-bono event where 30+ European developers showcase their newest games to press, publishers and strategic partners. It?s an invite only event aimed to help developers and their showcased project in taking the next steps towards success.

Side Quest

Side Quest is a free, live-streamed event aimed at 14-21-year-olds looking to join the games industry, focussing on the hugely varied range of job roles the sector offers, attendees will hear with career stories, watch game design masterclasses and get pro tips from a range of UK games studios including, Outplay, Playground Games, Media Molecule and Studio Gobo.

Side Quest is organised by Into Games, Access Creative colleges and UKIE.

Nordic Game Jam 2020

Nordic Game Jam is a game festival: two days of talks and an unforgettable jam weekend with 500 other game developers from all over the world. Join us for 48 hours of experimenting, coding, drawing and playing in Copenhagen!

WN Hub

WN Hub is a communication platform for the game industry designed to help companies reach their business goals online: learn about other players on the market, hold meetings, strengthen existing and establish new partnerships, exchange news and knowledge. WN Hub features personal and group online meetings, game showcase to connect developers and publishers, panel discussions and sessions, interactive expo zone and more.

WN Hub goes live on April 22, gathering over 2,000 industry professionals from over 1,000 companies such as Playrix, MyTona, Square Enix, SuperSonic, Larian Studios, ZeptoLab and more. Registration is open on the website, and it's free!

LudoNarraCon 2020

Organized by Fellow Traveller, an independent games label focused on innovative narrative games, LudoNarraCon is a pioneering event, replicating many of the aspects of conventions like PAX or EGX but through a digital format and hosted on the Steam platform.

The 2020 festival will run from April 24-27 and will feature exhibiting games including Telling Lies, Eliza, Heaven’s Vault, Boyfriend Dungeon, Paradise Killer and Genesis Noir.

White Nights Barcelona CEO Summit

It's a unique collaborative exchange for C-level executives of the finest companies that are involved in game development, publishing and marketing. Side Quest

Side Quest is a new UK-wide initiative to encourage the 3.3 million 13-19 year olds currently at home during the pandemic to start a rewarding career in the videogames industry. Side Quest challenges participants to build a game in seven days, with free software, regular live streamed masterclasses and a supportive online community.

Interface 9

Interface 9 is an online event by, and for, the games industry. Featuring nine industry speakers talking for just ten minutes each to create a varied and interesting event. This is a free event, intended for anyone working in/around the games industry, but open to anyone. Fundraising on the night will be for Scottish NHS charities; for every pound donated you get assigned a raffle number with which you could win any of the prizes up for grabs donated by a number of generous developers and publishers.

Tencent Industry Insights Conference

Join the first interactive Industry Insights event, jointly organized by Tencent Cloud, Gameye, and Tencent Games.

Coming up with a great idea and turning it into a playable game are just two steps in the lifecycle of every game. There are many more challenges such as funding, publishing, marketing, and deployment. In the first version of our new Industry Insights series, we invited industry veterans and experts from Supercell, Servers.com, Splash Damage, Kunlun, Makers Fund, Huya, R8 Games, and others to share their experience in publishing Multiplayer Games globally.

USC Games Expo

An exhibition of the year's most innovative games & interactive projects from across USC's campus presented by Jam City.

European Games BizDev Gathering

The main goal of EGBG is to get all interested European game developers in front of as many as possible publishers and investors from all over the world, to get them an opportunity to pitch their games, and get them funded or find the best possible publishing partner for their projects in development! As the world is currently in global turmoil and in almost complete lockdown, EGDF wants to support its European developer community and help as many game development studios as possible. If we manage to save at least one studio with this effort, we have done a lot.

Gamebreak

The virtual conference Gamebreak, developed by the Finnish game industry actives for a global audience, will be held online on 18-20 May 2020. The event will have six different tracks, three of which will be streamed free, while the additional three tracks will be available to ticket holders. All of the talks can be followed as video streams. The audience can engage in conversation with other visitors and the speaker while watching the video streams. Separate online appointments are also easy to arrange.

The six tracks of the event are game marketing, working remotely, multi-platform gaming, global gaming culture, game publishing, and finally a track organized by IGDA Finland with other partners. The exact program will be available on the conference website in the coming days. The speakers include Robert Bäckström from RawFury, Natasha Skult from MiTale, Jani Penttinen from Utopos Games, Douglas Ogeto from LudiqueWorks, Felicia Prehn from 10th Muse and Nopia, John Wolff from Kaimon International and Bryan Ogden from Malta.

Arctic Game Week

Arctic Game Week is an annually recurring week of game related activities in several municipalities in the north of Sweden. It is a gathering for those that work in the games industry, are planning to be a part of the industry, or as a consumer of games and related culture.

Arctic Game Week consists of Arctic Game Conference, Fantastic Conference, White Reindeer Awards and the game event Nordsken.

Digital Games conference Dubai, returns in June for its forth

Serious Play Conference

Fun & Serious Games Festival

The tenth edition of the festival, taking into account the current health circumstances, has opted for the online format, and it will be a celebration of these ten years, with talks and interviews with some of the honorary winners and most important participants who have passed through the festival during the last decade, and thanks to the online format they will be accessible live from anywhere in the world.
