505 Games parent acquires D3 Go

Digital Bros consolidates ownership of Puzzle Quest franchise with purchase of Marvel Puzzle Quest publisher

505 Games parent company Digital Bros today announced the acquisition of D3 Go, the publisher of Marvel Puzzle Quest and Puzzle Quest: The Legend Returns.

Combined with last year's acquisition of Puzzle Quest developer Infinity Plus Two, the D3 Go purchase gives Digital Bros exclusive ownership of the Puzzle Quest franchise.

"D3 Go has done a brilliant job bringing some of the biggest Puzzle Quest titles to market, and it was a natural fit for us to welcome them into the 505 Games family, building on our library of owned IP," said 505 Games head of free-to-play Clive Robert.

505 Games will begin producing updates for the existing D3 Go slate of titles, and the company has promised "additional investments in the near future."

Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but a representative for Digital Bros confirmed there will be no layoffs related to the acquisition.
