Kojima to keep working with PlayStation after Xbox deal announce

"Please be assured that we continue to have a very good partnership with PlayStation as well," the studio tweeted

Kojima Productions has confirmed that it'll continue working with PlayStation, following the announcement of its Xbox partnership yesterday.

The Hideo Kojima studio posted a first tweet saying: "As an independent creative studio, Kojima Productions will continue pursuing work on creations for our fans.

"We will explore various possibilities with games, movies, and music through platforms that evolve with time and technology."

It then published another tweet explaining that "many people" had asked about the state of the studio's collaboration with Sony Interactive Entertainment, following "the announcement of [its] partnership with Microsoft using the cloud technology."

It added: "Please be assured that we continue to have a very good partnership with PlayStation as well."

Kojima Productions' debut title, Death Stranding, was a PlayStation exclusive, before coming to PC via a partnership with 505 Games.

Hideo Kojima announced its new partnership with Microsoft during the Xbox and Bethesda showcase yesterday. He unveiled that Kojima Productions is working with Xbox Game Studios on "a completely new game" he has "always wanted to make," enabled by Microsoft's cloud technology.
