We're not talking about diversity. We're talking about our future

Our first Best Places To Work Awards UK 2021 panel offers actionable steps on how to diversify your team

Later this week, we'll be revealing this year's winners for the GamesIndustry.biz Best Places To Work Awards UK, and in the run up we'll be exploring some of the most crucial aspects of building a better workplace.

In the first of our series of free digital talks and podcasts, a panel of experts explore the importance and influence of leadership when it comes to culture and diversity.

The session not only covers why companies need to consider diversity when building out their teams, but also offers actionable steps that leaders can to accelerate their EDI journey.

The panel is hosted by Amiqus' Liz Prince and features Creative Assembly's Emma Smith, Mighty Kingdom's Philip Mayes, and Voice at the Table's Rina G Lynch.

You can watch the full discussion below:

The panel is also available as a podcast. You can find The GamesIndustry.biz Podcast on the podcasting platform of your choice, or download this episode directly here.

There's still plenty to come this week, with three more sessions in the coming days -- all of which will be available in both video and podcast forms -- before this year's awards winners are announced on Thursday.
