Xbox, Activision, EA and more confirmed for Gamescom 2021

19 publishers scheduled to appear at digital-only event next month

The first round of companies participating in this year's Gamescom event has been unveiled.

Among the 19 names are Xbox, Activision and EA, alongside the likes of Bethesda, Bandai Namco, Koch Media, Sega, Team17 and Ubisoft.

The aforementioned companies will also be joined by 80 additional indie titles, due to be showcased at the Indie Arena Booth Online throughout the event.

This year's Gamescom takes place between August 25th and 27th, and will be completely virtual once more due to the ongoing pandemic.

The show will expand on digital features introduced in 2020, including a live opening night hosted by Geoff Keighley, and Gamescom Epix, a series of interactive "quests" that attendees can do online ahead of the show.
