Esports organisation INTZ opens games studio

Its first game is out this week

Brazilian esports firm INTZ has opened its own games studio: Apollo Games Lab.

Announced during the Brazilian Independent Games Festival and reported on by Esports Observer, the studio's first game is Apollo In Outerspace for PC and smartphones and launches this week (May 14th). The game features the INTZ mascot Apollo.

Apollo Games Lab is led by Guilherme Romano, alongside INTZ CEO Lucas Almeida.

"We have a vision of managing the studio to be something more internal of INTZ, because now it works as a partnership, something more external of the org," Romano told Esports Observer. "But as soon as we raise the proper budget through investments we will bring everything inside."

INTZ fields teams in various esports competitions and is one of the biggest winners of the Brazilian League of Legends Championship with five titles, and also participates in Smite, DOTA 2, FIFA, Counter-Striker and Rainbow Six tournaments.
