GamesIndustry.biz Trade Zone announced for EGX

Dedicated networking and business space for the UK's biggest consumer show

GamesIndustry.biz is pleased to announce the first ever GI.biz Trade Zone, a dedicated business area at this year's massive EGX consumer event, taking place 22-25th September at the Birmingham NEC.

In addition to the existing UKIE AGM and the GI Investment Summit, the Trade Zone will offer another excellent reason for industry figures to attend the Birmingham show, offering meeting facilities, private rooms and a quiet space to work for all business attendees.

"There has long been a need for a specific trade play in the UK so we're fulfilling that demand with The GamesIndustry.biz Trade Zone @EGX", commented David Lilley, Managing Director of Gamer Events. "This will be a gated-entry trade only area for networking, meetings, a decent coffee, somewhere to rest weary feet and have a sandwich with colleagues and friends. EGX has an enviable track record of introducing great games to investors and partners as well as players, and a dedicated business area should make that much easier for all parties."

The GamesIndustry.biz Trade Zone will be open on during show hours on Thursday 22nd and Friday 23rd September and will support the full scope of the games industry, hosting representatives from publishers, developers, platform-holders, investors and recruiters covering PC, console and mobile.

Attendees will be able to book a daily table for meetings, and there will be stand and meeting room options. A limited number of presentation suites will be available for meetings on a larger scale. Anybody wishing to book space should contact chris.buckley@gamesindustry.biz. To register for a trade pass or other enquires regarding the GamesIndustry.biz Trade Zone @EGX, please contact james.grant@gamesindustry.biz.
